NEW UPS RATES
(As of January, 2009)

Note: UPS usually raises their rates every January. Rates include residential charge.

UPS has increased their rates slightly and will no longer allow the business rate to "home-based" businesses. Please let us know if you have a store front business.

For your convenience, we have printed a zone and rate chart with instructions for determining the approximate shipping cost of your orders.

IMPORTANT!! UPS will now charge a $2.40 or $2.65 surcharge for deliveries to certain zip codes in less populated or less accessible areas.  The gasoline sur-charge is reinstated and subject to change monthly.  Estimated charge is 6.75% of freight. (.0675 times the shipping charge)

FINDING YOUR UPS ZONE
To determine your zone, just use the first 3 digits of your zip code.  For instance:  If your zip is 79856, you would use the 798 and find this on the chart.  Since 798 is between the 797 and 799 in the last column--your zone would be 5.

OVER THE 20 POUNDS

Orders over 20 pounds and/or extra large items may receive an "oversize" rate or may need to be sent in 2 boxes.

FINDING THE COST FOR YOUR ZONE

On this chart, find your zone across the top of the chart.  Then using the black pound column down the left side, follow the chart down the column under your zone.

EXAMPLE: If your zone is 5 and you estimate your package will weigh 3 lbs.--your cost would be $7.89.  There may, also, be a UPS surcharge.  See "Important" on top left of this page.  (Please remember that we must weigh the packing material and the box.)

AN EXAMPLE OF WEIGHT:  A few brushes and a small amount of other lightweight supplies would probably be under 1 lb.  (Note: Any fraction of a pound over the weight shown takes the next higher rate.  An order of a 10" plate, a small cup and a baby shoe would probably be over 2 lbs. and being over 2 lbs. would cost the 3 lb. rate.)  Please remember UPS has a minimum for up to 1 lb.

We do not charge for packing or handling.  We only charge whatever UPS charges us.  Please allow ample funds for shipping.   Any over-payment will be refunded and enclosed inside your package!
